A special day is nearly upon us. What is it? Why, it's the one year anniversary of this blog! Yeah, it's kind of a big deal. And I plan to celebrate with a spectacular countdown of my list of top ten Wii games! The date? Oh yes, of course! March 15th is the very day! (The Ides of March, is that creepy or what?) Look forward to reading about a game a day for the next ten days, ending on my number one favorite Wii game. These posts will additionally include two other games: one honorable mention, and one game that I either should have played or should have finished. Also on March 15th, expect something awesome to happen. It's gonna be big! See you tomorrow with number 10 in the countdown!

Very cool - early congrats. Making it a year is not always easy. I know when I started my blog, I had all these ideas of how I was going to set it up, the kinds of posts I was going to make and then... crickets. I didn't network, I didn't advertise, I had like 2 followers. I nearly gave up after the first couple of months - so congratulations on it and looking forward to your countdown list.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you tend to think that as soon as you start up your shiny new blog, it'll be an instant hit! Not the case. I got past the initial disappointment by reminding myself again and again why I was doing this in the first place: because I love Nintendo and I love to write! It's been a great ride. DeleteNo problem at all - glad to see you hanging in there and enjoying it. Like you, I love to write, I enjoy my video games and I've been at it so long I figure there's at least 1 or 2 people I might not bore to tears, so I kept at it. And then in the last 6 months, I've seen my visits and followers double, which is rewarding :)
