Frustrations about memory cards

Admit it: They're all evil!
I have been looking for my PlayStation memory card for months. It's so frustrating losing one; actually it's frustrating having them in the first place!
  1. When lost, they are never to be found again.
  2. Must buy a new one (around $15 for a good one).
  3. All old game data is COMPLETELY GONE.
  4. Now you have to start over on all the games that you had gotten really far on.
  5. If you are so unlucky as to have two memory cards, you will constantly forget what one the game you are playing is saved on.
Okay, so I admit these aren't really all "valid" or whatever; once again it's all pretty much just me ranting about how I lost my memory cards. Now I have to get a new one and start all my games over!

What do you guys think about these devils?

  1. Doesn't matter to me whether or not it's ranting, it's hilarious either way!

I do have to say, however, that I dislike memory cards myself! What happened to the good ol' days when extra storage wasn't even a concern?!

  2. It is obsolete and I would totally take a hard drive any day of the week, but back then, I didn't really mind them.

  3. I loved the little artistic... additions to the image. :)

I've had various forms of the listed problems in the past with my memory cards, especially my PS2. I much prefer having actual hard drives now, believe me.

  4. Storage of saved data is so much better now. Between hard drives, built in memory, or SD cards it is much more convenient.
