It was completely arranged, of course. I suspect that is the reason why I feel a little let down. As I've said before, Mii characters acquired through StreetPass participate in your Mii Plaza games. Unfortunately, my recent StreetPass encounter didn't yield new puzzle pieces, and use of my new warrior in "Find Mii" was incredibly anti-climatic.
I'm lucky - my wife has a 3DS, too, so she's a Level 7 fighter in Find Mii. Takes out some ghosts with one stab!

I heard rumors that the puzzle you begin with is dependent on which state you live in...I'm starting to think it's true.
